Putting Vision into Action

Have you ever had a solution to a problem, but the leadership above you just wouldn’t listen? As a public servant, I have, and I am no longer willing to let great solutions go unheard.

I am here to restore YOUR VOICE Clackamas County!

I have faithfully served this community. Recently our County Office of Equity & Inclusion was closed, despite receiving much opposition. I am sickened by this decision! As a person that was born with, and now advocates for those with a disability, along with having been in the foster care system as a child, I’ve spent my life overcoming adversity, and helping others to do the same. I am here to re-empower Clackamas County as your new Commissioner! No more arrogant abuse of power! I am here to listen, and to work together so that everyone in our community is included & thrives!

Strategies to accomplish these goals:

-To incorporate ALL voices in the decision-making process.

-To ensure that all historically underserved communities are receiving equitable services.

-When making decisions, to measure the impact on our business community, education system, workforce, public service providers, and residence, and determining best practices to help them flourish.

-To admit when our commissioners are wrong, and to do what is needed As Your Chair, to get us on the best path!

What makes me qualified:

I have a strong background in serving in education, workforce development, human services, governmental programs, faith-based organizations, and in non-profit formation and leadership. You can be confident that I have the wisdom, dedication, & heart to stand for us all!

Don’t miss your opportunity to have A VOTE FOR YOU!

Join me by having your ballot in by May 21st. Let’s restore the voice of Clackamas County!

What others are saying:

“April Lambert is an active and committed member of the Clackamas County community. When April sees a need to be addressed, she doesn’t just raise the problem, she begins to create solutions. Her non-profit Yona’s Kids and her work with the county underscore her dedication to serving our community. April has also been an active supporter of community college students, mentoring interns and offering feedback about how to create the best experiences for students. Her dedication to all members of the county is reflected in her years of hard work and passionate advocacy.

I highly support April’s candidacy for Clackamas County Board of Commissioners.”
